Socio-Economic Impact

A detailed analysis of the direct and indirect impacts expected from EST was carried out during the Conceptual Design Study. The main financial aspects to be considered during its construction and operation phases, as well as the advantages of the Canary Islands' proposed EST sites, were also studied.
