WP03000

WP03000 is dedicated to System Engineering and it is led by GRANTECAN (GTC), which ensures an adequate technical organization of the design study thanks to its experience with the construction of the large segmented optical-IR telescope GTC (equivalent circular diameter of 10.4 m). Other WP03000 participant is IAC.

The objective of this work package is to maintain consistency among the system's design basis and requirements, system documentation, and configuration parameters using specific system engineering tools (error budgets, system resource budgets, interface control). It is responsible for the System Specification Document from which all the technical requirements of all systems and subsystems are derived. In this WP, the top-most system alternatives, which define the main system performance will be outlined. Under this WP, the main system interfaces will be determined.
