Members of the EST Foundation
Currently, the European Solar Telescope Canarian Foundation is formed by ten research institutions from eight European countries.
The University of Sheffield represents the United Kingdom Universities Consortium, which includes the following universities:
- Aberystwyth University
- Durham University
- Queen's University Belfast
- University of Exeter
- University of Glasgow
The EST Foundation participating institutions have decision-making power over the scientific, technological and industrial aspects of the project.
Observers

Institutions that are not members of the EST Foundation but have an interest in the project and wish to stay updated on the current situation, may request Observer status to participate in the meetings of the EST Board.
