The Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía hosted the VIII Spanish Meeting of Solar and Heliospheric Physics from the 11th to the 13th of July. The preliminary design of the European Solar Telescope (EST) was discussed with the scientific community in several presentations throughout the three-day event, during which they provided feedback in the form of questions and comments.
