The XXXII International Astronomical Union General Assembly took place in August 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. The Cape Town International Convention Centre hosted the 10-day event, during which the National Organizing Committee established three core values to define the spirit of the meeting: accessibility, impact, and environmental sustainability.
During the assembly, within the framework of the Meeting of Division C - Education, Outreach and Heritage, Luis Bellot (IAA-CSIC), a member of the Board of Trustees of the EST Foundation, delivered a presentation titled ‘EST International School Competition: “The Sun at a Glance”'. In this talk, Bellot explained the development and results of the infographics competition for secondary schools held as part of the EST project.
