Several locations were used for the filming of the documentary, including the following five European observatories: Einsteinturm (Potsdam, Germany); Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos (La Palma, Spain); Observatorio del Teide (Tenerife, Spain); Pic du midi Observatory (Bagnères-de-Bigorre, France) and Schauinsland Observatorium (Freiburg, Germany).
