The European Solar Telescope was present in the LXIII Congresso della Società Astronomica Italiana, held in Rome on May 14-17, 2019.
The congress intended to look into the future of Italian astronomy in the international context, featuring the most prominent research projects by Italian universities and research centres.
Francesco Berrilli, from University of Rome Tor Vergata, introduced the European Solar Telescope to an audience of Italian astronomers and astrophysicists on behalf of the EST project.
